The Heatless Regeneration Adsorption Air Dryer is designed for industrial compressed air systems that require reliable, continuous, and energy-efficient drying. It operates on the principle of Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA), removing moisture from compressed air without the need for external heating.
During operation, water vapor in the compressed air is adsorbed by the desiccant when the partial pressure is high. At the same time, a small portion of the dried compressed air is diverted as regeneration gas. Under this low partial pressure condition, the adsorbed moisture is released from the desiccant and discharged, allowing the adsorbent to regenerate automatically.
This process enables adsorption and regeneration to take place in alternating cycles, ensuring a continuous supply of dry compressed air. Because no external heater or cooler is required, the system features a simple structure, stable performance, and easy operation while maintaining a low outlet dew point.
To ensure stable drying performance and reliable long-term operation, the Heatless Regeneration Adsorption Air Dryer should be used under the following recommended conditions:
- Applicable fluid: Compressed air, non-corrosive air
- Rated inlet pressure: 0.6–1.0 MPa, standard 0.7 MPa
- Inlet temperature range: 10–40℃
- Outlet pressure dew point: -40℃ to -20℃, depending on model
- Adsorbent type: Activated alumina or molecular sieve
- Regeneration air consumption: 4%–8% of product air
- Ambient temperature: 2–45℃
For the best operating result, the dryer should be supplied with clean and stable compressed air. Proper pre-filtration is recommended to protect the desiccant, maintain drying efficiency, and extend equipment service life.
