The 99.5% PSA Nitrogen Generator is designed to provide a stable, continuous, and cost-effective nitrogen supply for a wide range of industrial applications. By using Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology, the system separates nitrogen from compressed air through high-performance carbon molecular sieve (CMS), eliminating the need for traditional nitrogen cylinders or liquid nitrogen delivery.
The generator operates with a dual-tower adsorption system. During operation, compressed air enters one adsorption tower, where oxygen, moisture, and trace gases are selectively adsorbed by the CMS, while nitrogen passes through and is delivered to the outlet. At the same time, the second tower undergoes regeneration. A small portion of the produced nitrogen is used to release the adsorbed oxygen from the saturated CMS, and the exhaust gas is safely discharged into the atmosphere.
A PLC control system automatically switches the two towers every 45–60 seconds, ensuring uninterrupted nitrogen production and stable nitrogen purity at 99.5%. This process provides reliable performance, low energy consumption, fast start-up, and long service life, making it an ideal on-site nitrogen solution for industrial users.
To ensure stable nitrogen purity and efficient long-term operation, the nitrogen generator should be used under the following recommended conditions:
- Nitrogen purity: 99.5%
- Inlet pressure: 0.5–0.8 MPa
- Inlet temperature: ≤ 40°C
- Nitrogen dew point: ≤ -40°C
- Ambient temperature: ≤ 40°C
- Switching cycle: 45–60 seconds
- Voltage / frequency: 220V / 50Hz
- Noise level: ≤ 75 dB
For the best performance, the generator should be supplied with clean and stable compressed air. Proper pre-treatment, including air filtration and drying, is recommended to protect the carbon molecular sieve, improve nitrogen generation efficiency, and extend equipment service life.
